I was wondering if I will see a substantial performance increase by putting 2 2tb hds in a striped array and if so, should I go with Minitool partition wizard, or just go with Windows Professional.

You don`t get much of a speed increase by using raid with two mechanical drives.
Your far better off using an Ssd drive, or using two ssd drives in a raid 0 array for a great speed improvement.

I have a a system here with two drives raided in a raid O array.
Even one ssd surpasses it in speed.

Im using an independent 128 gb ssd for my os, the mechanicals are for the rest of my data, I cant afford multiple ssds with sizes of that magnitude and I need to know what the best option would be for the two 2 tbs.
