i have intel pentium r d 3.20 ghz processor ,3gb of ddr2 ram ,hp mother board i want to add Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card to it to play games like battle field 3

That processor is getting pretty old and will likely hold games back. However to answer your question, as long as your case has a PCI Express x16 slot, and a decent power supply, you should be able to install a 6670.
