I have a H100i in push configuration with fans on highest speed and i still get up to 70 degrees when playing battlefield 3. What could cause these hot temperatures? Would tightening the cpu block too tight have caused this maybe as i am unsure whether i have done this?
Thanks

You definitely have...

Do you have any case fans supplying fresh air, and some exhaust fan(s) as well? How about the room temperatures that the PC is in? Also, what CPU are you using?

I have an i7 3770k at stock speed because i didn't wanna overclock with these temps. The ambient temp is 22 degrees and the case has the 2 x 120mm cpu fans and 1 other 120mm exhaust fans with 2 x 120mm intake fans in the front and 1 x 140mm intake fans on the side.

You definitely have enough air coming in. Have you tried re-seating the water block? Perhaps the contact with the cpu isn't good enough.

I dont know much about this stuff but from what I read intel is using some kind of crap attachment method to attach the heat spreader and folks "delid" and reatach the heat spreaders. But try making sure that your block is seating right first.
