I have a problem when i shut down my system the monitor , mouse, keyboard and HD power off but my cpu fans lights power supply all stay on. I have to turn off the power supply switch to get it to turn these items off. I have changed power supplies, processor and reloaded W8 so far no luck. When I turn the power back on it boots back up with the switch as normal.
I have an AMD Phenom Quad core 3.0 Ghz AM2+ cpu and a MSI K9N2 SLI PLATINUM Motherboard 8 G ram 500 G sata HD. Gforce 8800 gt graphics card.
I built this myself I am mechanically inclined i do it as a hobby but the software side of it still gets me. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
