Just out of curiosity, will a USB 2.0 device work when plugged into a USB 3.0 port? Again, just for the sake of knowledge.

Thanks!!

I know it is a total newbie question. I just have absolutely no experience with any sort of USB 3.0 device or port!

IMO that image you have on your signature is cool, however a bit confusing. But that doesn't bother me. Just thought I throw it out there!

Thanks again!!

One exception to this is Mouse and Keyboards plugged into USB3 ports, when your in the BIOS. Due to storage limitations on BIOS', the USB3 driver isn't included and you need to use a USB2 port for it to work.

Thanks! I would never have known that!

There would be no benefit to use a USB 3.0 keyboard or mouse.

There wouldnt be, which is why you will never find one (except maybe if the keyboard has USB pass-through's?).
Anyway, just saying don't plug your mouse/keyboard into USB3 ports.
