I'm looking to build a pc to run next gen instead of a ps4. Will it run battlefield 4, watch dogs, and saints row 4 at max? I know it's not out but on a guess.
CPU: amd fx8320
Ram:8 gb ddr3
Gpu: gtx 760

There yah go ...

The HD 7970 has already fallen below $300 these days -- no telling where it will be come October.

This is an odd time in the GPU wars, too. AMD has been sitting on "Tahiti" since early 2012. nVidia released Kepler 4 months later, and then the refresh this Summer -- the point being, it's almost like AMD was waiting to see what nVidia cooked-up, and will tweak Volcanic Islands accordingly.

The bottom line is ... another crater in GPU prices, and new models to salivate over (especially if the rumahs on the internets are to be believed).

No doubt, you will get a great deal more bang-fer-yer-buck come October, and an even better selection of hardware to choose from ...

edit: Haswell ain't all that ...

The FX8320 is...
Well ...

Pretty much what aatje92 said, but I would hold off on the video card if you can. Do you have an old card you can put in the rig?

Volcanic Islands will likely be on shelves by the release of BF4, and it will likely bring another downward cascade of GPU prices. The GTX760 will certainly become less expensive ...

And the GTX770/HD7970 could easily fall into your price range, which could boost your frames substantially (15-20% ??) over the GTX760.

I was planning on building it in October. My price range is 700-900.

If you want the best performing gaming processor out there today, the haswell based i5-4670K is the best out there :)

If your building in october, make a new thread a week or so before you need to purchase, ALOT can change in the course of 6-8 weeks.

The FX8320 is $145 this weekend, and will easily OC within 100MHz or so of the FX8350 -- at a price $95 less than the i5-4670K.

It ain't gonna pump 67% more frames in BF4 than the FX8320 ...

Yeah, i was just saying in terms of gaming performance, the i5-4670K is the best gaming processor out there with a much lower power consumption and heat generation than the FX8320.

The 8320 IS definetely a great gaming processor though, especially at the price you said.

Not important since we don't disagree but:
