Hi guys!
I recentlly got my hands on some old Radeon 4730 graphic card.Grpahic card works fine, but it's RAM runs 90C idle and when i stress it in Furmark it goes up to 130C in just a 30sec,before crashing.
Newest drivers, new ac5,fan set to max, even a new small heatsink that i installed on a graphic card ram didn't help at all...Big 40cm fan is blowing directly into my case,so it's not a airflow issue.
When i underclock the ram to it's lowest possible speed(from 900mhz to 450mhz),the card works fine and the ram goes up to 90C max.
I was wondering what causes the RAM to run this hot?Is there any more permenent solution to this problem, then lowering the ram frequency?
Thank you all for your time!

I did all of that already...i applied artic silver 5 on a graphic core.GPU core has a normal temperature of 45C idle and 75C stressed with furmark.I use GPUZ to monitor the temperatures, and the one that gives me a problem is named GPU Temp.(MEMIO),and i suppose that that is a ram temperature.
When under stress,if i tuch a heatsink with my hand, its not that hot,but if i tuch RAM, i can feel it burn 100C+.That means sensors are not wrong.I even installed a small heatsink on a ram,to spread the heat better, but that didn't helped much.Maybe voltages for ram are messed up?Is there a program that can be used to manually set them? Can a bad capacitor cause ram to overheat?I dont know,im just guessing...
By the way, thank you for your quick replays!
