Hello i have borrowed an asus graphic card from my friend model name C1VG85 and i really don't know about this graphic card but probably it seems to be a low end graphic card not even for gaming but i wanted to test it with my pc.....so now coming back to the topic as when i inserted my graphic card in my mobo and turned pc on it shows that 'vga signal not found, Monitor is going to sleep' and it shuts off but after removing it from my pc and again turning on my monitor starts working......and yes the graphic card also turned hot....so please help me as i'm probably going to buy a new gc within two months probably -
gt 630 ddr5 or ddr3 or gt 440 or hd 6670 or HD 7730 which is newly released(i think so)....

My Pc Specs-processor- Intel Core 2 Duo E7400
RAM- 2GB DDR2
PSU-180 watt(12*11 watt on 12v rail)
Hard Disk-500 GB
And PC Model- Compaq CQ3070IL

Please Help me i want to get a gc under 90 dollars....not even a single penny more than that and please also tell me in accordance to my psu as i am not going to buy a new one.....
i want to play new and latest games on med to high settings like BF3, Watch Dogs etc and also the upcoming ones.....

With that PSU your options are VERY limited.

When you installed your friend's GPU into your system, did you also connect your display to it? If so and it fails to show anything, your system is likely not providing enough power to it.

Looking at your system specs (Compaq CQ3070IL), it will accommodate a standard ATX PSU. If you upgraded your PSU to at least 450w (from a reputable PSU manufacturer like Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, or Antec), you would have plenty of power and many more options for GPUs.

All of the GPUs you mentioned would be okay for low-medium level gaming. Just keep in mind, that your overall system is rather dated when it comes to supporting modern game requirements.

Yes i connected the display adapter to it but there was no signal found on monitor and as soon as i removed the graphic card it was started working.....and yes the above asus card i mentioned above according to me will not take much power not even more than HD 5450.......so i dont think so there is any power issues for this.....please help me i want to buy HD 7730 as soon as it arrives in India.....and yes as i mentioned above i cannot spend extra money for psu as i am out of budget.....
