Hello all,
As the title states whenever I am using a program it will stop itself almost as if I have gone to another program. This happens in games as well as when I am typing. For example I am writing this and every 30 or so seconds while I type, the sound indicating essentially that I am typing at nothing goes off. I must then click my browser in order to type again. I tried out a few games in order to see how my system was running and every 30 or so seconds the game will slowly and choppily pause. Then I must click with my mouse again to use the program another few seconds. Needless to say this is annoying and I have no ideas as to what is causing this.

Here are some of the recent changes I have made to my computer-

TP Link Wireless Reciever 300mb/s
Driver and Utility Installed

Recently overcame a frequent BSOD with the stop code 0x0000003b

I have two monitors installed- one in the video card and another to the motherboard and subsequently Intel Processor.

Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and no problems were reported.

I appreciate the help, if you have questions I may be able to answer them.

what antivirus are you using?

i would also get ccleaner then run the file cleaner then run the registry cleaner multiple times.

Most likely an IRQ conflict, they can and will still happen even with modern OSes and Hardware.

I am using norton, a 60 day trial that came with my Mobo. Then I am going to get Kapersky. What will cleaning the registry do?

uninstall norton and see if the problem persists.

cleaning the registry will clear any unneeded entries from the registry that can sometimes cause problems and system slowdowns.
