I am setting up a second computer running xbmc in my house and will need all content to be streamed wirelessly. Cat5 and powerline are not options. I know Hd content over wireless N seems to be spotty or not reccomended however it seems to be the only option. Distance will probably only be 40 ft but will need to go through several walls. I am trying to figure out if I am better of buying a wireless adapter or buying another router and using it as a bridge?

New Adapter can certainly be more powerful but if you think a new router can strengthen the existing network on all WiFi devices.
But for information :Router is fine to stream high quality HD wired to your TV, while most decent N wireless routers can stream YouTube compressed HD, high quality HD from an NAS needs a wired connection.
