Hi,

I'm quite new to this so need a bit of general advice please!

I had been planning on building my own rig for gaming for a few months and spent ages researching different components... until I saw a second hand one come up for sale on eBay with pretty much everything I needed for cheap!

It has a 500W PSU and a GTX 660 which is fine for now but in preparation for next generation console games being released I want to upgrade the GPU. I'm trying to decide between the 670 and 770, is the 770 worth the extra cash?
Of course upgrading to one of these will require a bit more power and just need a bit of advice whether or not the one I am looking at buying is a) decent and b) compatible?

The power supply I am looking at is the Corsair GS700w - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-093-CS

And my MOBO is an Asus P8Z77-V LX Socket 1155 - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z77V_LX/

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

these would be decent choices as well that gs 700 is a good choice too
tier 2 unit
Power Supply: XFX 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (£72.90 @ Scan.co.uk)

tier 2 unit
Power Supply: XFX 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (£65.58 @ Scan.co.uk)

full modular tier 2 unit
Power Supply: OCZ ZT 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply (£69.95 @ Scan.co.uk)

a system with 770 need a 600w minimum psu and a 42 amps from the 12v rail so these all are good choices as well with gs 700
