HDD not showing up in win

I have looked at all the HD sites on how to get my 3rd drive to work and so far nothing has helped disk management does not give me any options to fix it and for some reason it only works when plugged into the second sata 6gb/s port I have tried different cable and different ports and so far the only two I an get drives to work on are the 2 SATA 6gb/s. Can someone help me out here I had all my backed up data on that drive and I had to format my primary HDD so I could do a fresh install of win8pro on the SSD I just got.....?????/// Asus p8z77 v lx MB

here is the thing I just had to do a fresh install today and I put most of the MB drivers and utilities on but I ddi not see anything relating to SATA I can get the SSD to work in 1st port and the 1.5tb in 2nd port and the BR drive in the 3rd but I can't seem to get my storage drive to work or my 1.5tb to work unless they are plugged into the 2nd port so right now it is one or the other btw the 1.5tb is much faster than the storage 1tb
