Windows is great and all, but what I need is a good linux or something else distro that I can dual-boot if I don't want to wait 5 minutes to start Windows just to check my email.
I also want something lightweight, so that I can write my stories and have the maximum battery life. I figured if I get like, a small OS and have only a word processor on that I should get a few more hours out of my laptop life. I say this because an 8 hour road trip is coming soon...
