I am thinking about upgrading my i3 2120 to a i5 3330. But, is it worth it? I play @ 1920x1080 with a GTX 660. I get around 45-50 fps avg on BF3 but sometimes can drop quite low (30-38 fps). If i were to upgrade, what fps increase would I get/ any other advantages?

Also, If i were to upgrade, I only have 1 case fan, would this be enough. I'm fine at temertures at the moment.
TEMPS = GPU - 38 oc Idle l 55 oc Full load (MAX 69 oc) / CPU - 32 oc Idle l around 40 oc Full load (MAX 50 oc)

PC Specs
i3 2120
Gtx 660 Twin Frozor (OC'ed)
6gb 1600 MHZ ram
CX 750 Watt Power Supply

Thanks.

How much more FPS would I achieve? Also there is no empty fan mounts, but I still think I could get cool temps.

Technically i3-3220 couldn't OC if u don't tweak it.

i5-3330's freq isn't good enough. If u wanna save up for a new i5, better get a i5-3570 (that's the best non-K ivy i5 u could get). U may need to change mobo if u go for i5-4xxx.

Motherboard change is required for all i5/i5 4xxx chips. They are a different socket than the sandy and ivy chips. I wouldn't get anything but an i5 3570k unless you can get a really good deal on a used 2500k. Motherboard might need a Bios update to work with Ivy chips.
