Here is the link to the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1t3xc

Now for the questions:

1)For the CPU would upgrading to the i5- 4670K be useful or counterproductive?

2)Are the 2 sticks of RAM enough?

3)Why do I need 2 SSD's and an HDD?

4)For the power supply would a Corsair Gaming 700W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply be enough to run the estimated 670W system, if not is the CoolMax 900W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply well built and reliable?

5)And most importantly is there any better video card that would go with this build or is that one the best for the system?

6)Will one Swiftech H220 55.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler be enough to cool the entire system?

Overall is this a good build? Any opinions and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

How has this build served you so far? Is there enough RAM? What is the difference between the SAPHIRE and POWERCOLOR video card?

Thanks for the reply!

I wouldn't invest $2k in a dead platform... Socket 1155 has reached "end of life " status. Id normally recommend the MSI Z87-GD65 which was THE MoBo to beat with its military grade components and killer OC abilities.....and if ya budget says <$200, that's the MoBo Id match with the 4670k. but with the release of the Maximus VI Formula and your choice of the Swiftech 220 (Consider also the CM Prestige 240L) I gotta say this is your MoBo. It has built in water blocks for the power circuitry and you can see it pictured here on and insert on Asus product page

You can go thu that to see how the CM Prestige 240L (or in your case the Swiftech) can be installed.

The entire build which was showcased at Comdex is detailed here:

Pair that with the 4670k and you're golden for years to comw....

As for the GFX, can't get behind the 7990 even with the $200 price drop.

Ya case is OK but the PSU should be thrown in the crapper.

Corsair 500R / HX850 gives you one of the best cases on newegg with 69% giving it 5 eggs and combining it with a 10.0 jonnyguru performance rated PSU is lsited at $245 - $20 in rebates (was $40 earlier today) and $25 off w/ promo code EMCXMWT39, ends 8/19 ... so $200 .... $20 less than the combo ya had.... if ya prefer white ....it's $250

I have built with both....white looks better in pics, black looks better on the table.

Don't buy RAM singly....buy in matched sets Mushkin Redline 16GB DDR301866 CAS 9 $140

For storage Im using mostly the 840 Pro 128 / 256 GB SSD ($150 / $240) w/ either the WD Black 1 TB ($95) or Seagate 7200.14 3 TB ($135)

GFX I mosty use 1 or 2 MSI N770 GTX 770s ($800 for 2)

I have never built this build, I simply created it, sorry for the confusion :p 8Gb of ram is all you need it today's world really and I'd say sapphire>powercolor, but both are perfectly fine! Its mostly a brand/quality thing.
