Hey, I am building a good gaming PC for my friend that max 1.3K. Here are my parts, cost 1298$ on ncix.ca . I am not a super pro in PC but not a bad either, so just want to make sure here I get good bang for buck and it's all compatible. Thanks! PC build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1t4Nu

All looks good to me. You went with a good CPU for a gaming rig instead of going for a i7 from the get go like a lot of builds I see that is good and the i5 will work great for gaming. Overall everything looks good. I have used MSI motherboards alot over the years and they have always proven to be very good.

Yeah first idea was ASUS but then since I had good service with my RMA of my laptop, I chose MSI so I know if he has any problems with his MOBO or GPU he can have a good service.
