Over the past month I've slowly upgraded my mobo/ram/CPU/gpu

My new rig is this:

-fX-8320 oc'd to 4.4ghz

-gigabyte gtx 760 windforce : oc'd to 1170/7008 (stock 1085/6000). with gpu boost 2.0 it puts it at 1332mhz core / 7008 mem

-8gb corsair vengeance pro series

-gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 r3

-corsair H60 cooler

-150gb hdd (bought years ago on a budget, will upgrade soon)

-antec earthwatts 650

-antec 900 case

---------------------------

I'm just curious if anyone has similar systems and recommend shooting for a higher CPU or Gpu overclock. Dunno how much more performance I can squeeze out vs diminishing returns and such

Right now games run amazing 1080p single monitor

BF3 maxed out HbAo, very high everything - big fights I get 60+ fps never less. Normal running around I see about 70-100 fps

Crysis 3 - all settings very high maxed out I'm getting 35-60 fps. Never below 32. Average seems 40-50s

Metro LL all settings very high (physx on , very high tess, 2x SSAA, etc) I'm getting about 35-50 on average. Mostly I'm at about 45-50 but some fights I drop to 30s.

Without SSAA I get like a nearly constant 50-70 fps with all other settings kept

Planet side 2 is so much better than my 965BE! Can't accurately give fps results. Mostly 40s - 50s in big fights although it's totally random cuz the game blows and is horribly optimized, I mean horribly !

These results I am very , very pleased to see!! I can't wait to play witcher 3! Gorgeous!

Huge upgrade it seems over my pII 965 @ 4ghz and gtx 560ti oc'd

If your games are running great what else would you need really. I have a FX-8350 based rig and a FX-8120 and both of them are great gaming rigs and really can keep up in games with my i5 3570K with no real problems at all.

If your games are running great then I would not push the overclock anymore. Both of my FX rigs I have overclocked but only the multiplier I have not pushed it to were I would need to oc the voltage and there performance is great.
