Okay so this is my first build and ive struck a wall. I know that i5 cpus are the shit and alot of people stand by them, this is my frist build and i have a question, i can afford a i5 3570k or 4670k and a 7870 ghz edition or i could also get a fx 8320 and a 760 which from my mnowledge destroys the 7870. My final option which im not sure of is getting a ivy i3 and getting a 770'but im sure that would cause a bottleneck. My bidget is bout 750$ and tha must include a keyboard and mouse and the tower thanks and have a freat day

Heres a system under your $750 requirement that includes a i5-4670k and a card that performs very similarly to a GTX760 (the 7950):
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Pro3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($84.99 @ Microcenter)
Memory: Patriot Signature 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($52.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card ($209.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case...
We can definitely help, but first we need to ask you some questions:

Where are you purchasing this? (country and state/province needed, city ideal)
What is the intended use of the build? (gaming, video editing, etc.)
Do you wish to overclock?
Finally, as I view peripherals (mice and keyboards) as being the domain of preference, how much should we set aside so that you can afford peripherals?

Answering those questions will put us in a much better position to help you.

The reality is there is not a lot of difference in day to day gaming experience when you use different processors , and play at high resolutions and details .
The exception would be the dual core processors that are not able to keep up .

I was faced with the same choice and I went with AMD and a stronger graphics card .
