Your question

How much wattage will I need for this build?

Howdy folks!

Another curious question, this time about power. Ive heard stories of not having the right amount of power and your Gpu for example doesnt get the wattage it needs and therefore can meltdown due to not functioning properly! >.<

So the build is -
Cpu - AMD Fx 8320
Gpu - Asus Geforce Gtx 760 (Asus OC)
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 ATX
RAM - Crucial Ballistix 8gb (2x4gb)
HDD - 1tb Western Digital
PSU - Corsair CX500w Bronze (?)
Case - Nzxt Source 210
Cpu cooling - Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212

Will 500w be enough or will I require more? I know that Nvidia ask for 500w Minimum for their Gtx 760 as much I do know.

Your best bet is to put your specs into an online wattage calculator, or even pcpartpicker where you can get an estimate. 500W should be good with those specs, better to be sure though.

500 is good, the cpu takes 125 and the gpu shouldnt take more than 200

Righto I slammed this in Pcpartpicker as you suggested and I got a estimated total of 403w! Quite pleased ^.^. Sorry Ive never used that before hehe. Learn something everyday! Extra Kudos points for you sir! =D
