Hello, I'm fairly new to overclocking and I would like to request some assistance. I was thinking about seeing if it would be possible to overclock my cpu to 3.4Ghz.

CPU: Amd Phenom II x6 1055t (Current speed 2.8Ghz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
Ram: 12GB DDR3
GPU: Evga Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 (non ti)
CPU Cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

I don't know what other info I would need to provide.

Solution
You need to set your RAM speed at manual and choose the actual speed that your RAM is made to run at. Be carefull with the voltage, just try to keep it as low as possible, only go up when it isn't stable anymore, and the temperature isn't too high yet.
