8 on a 120 gb pen drive

i have a wd 1 tb green and its slow i also have a 120 gb pen drive could i just install os a few programs and games on it as a hard drive kinda thing and leave it in the back of the comp?

If it were that easy, millions of people would have done it already, and documented it in detail.

Windows does not like to be installed on a removable drive.
Yes, there is WindowsToGo, but only as a part of Win8 Enterpricse.

You might actually get it to work, but it is not an easy process.
