Hi everyone, i have a bit of a dilemma, i live in an area where the only internet service i can get is 60kb download rate if i am lucky and no one else is using the internet, as you know most steam/orgin games are digital copies, my problem lies with the download time for games in choosing my next pc, i would love to get a desktop gaming pc but download rates are way too slow to download my library of games, i mean some 15gb games would take forever. so i am really considering dropping some money on a gaming laptop, but i view the performance as very limited at my price range of 1100 and something 14" or less (because i am a student, lugging a 15.6/17" laptop is not ideal). especially when i know building a rig will offer better performance at half the price and modular system. I was wondering if i could transfer steam game files from a laptop to a desktop pc, the library on campus i can download up to 90mb/s, i would put the games on a normal laptop and simply transfer them to a desktop, is this possible with steam games?
