XFX 5770 Replacement

Hey community,
My xfx 5770 recently died and I am about to contact XFX for a replacement. If I were to send it in right now, what would the replacement card most likely be? I am thinking that I would get a 677x as my new replacement card. Should I do it now or should I wait a couple more months and see if I get a better replacement than a 677x?

what is your budget for the gpu ??????
the new replacement of 5770 is 7770
But new games at least need 7850

I wasn't really looking to get a new gpu since I have a GTX650 laying around. I just wanted to take advantage of XFX's lifetime warranty and see what I can potentially get. Since the replacement for the 5770 is currently the 7770, I think I'll wait until it get's old and see what else I can get.
