I just bought and reinstalled win 8 pro today having many issues that were not there before(it was on HDD already) one being this issue with the activation as it asks me over and over for the key, I put it in and it keeps asking me. This I starting to make me very angry because if I m in a game the game will crash. oh and I tried the Microsoft site and it does not give me the info I need and won't allow me to ask a question
why does it keep askig for activation

If you clean install Windows Upgrade version it can be activated by performing Refresh Your PC immediately after the install (Leave your Installation disk in the drive). Perhaps this will work for you... otherwise phone as suggested...
