its good for the next 2 - 3 years will maybe have to OC and/or swap the gpu

I would rate it as an 8 if it had a good SSD to go with the WD Caviars.
Otherwise I have to give it a 6.
My config is: OCZ vertex 4 128 (For OS) and 2 x WD caviar black 1TB (Raid 0 For Steam games and general storage) + 1.5TB WD Green (backup).

Define "future proofness". Because you cannot make a computer build 'Future Proof', though you can improve your options to upgrade.

For one you picked a dead-end socket LGA1155, hence you will not be able to upgrade it to any newer CPU. You will need to buy a Z87 chipset based motherboard and CPU (socket LGA 1150), to have some "upgradeability " or in your case, some "future proofness".
