Now, I'm new to building my own computer, and my lingo isn't up to par, but just try to bear with me. I bought this motherboard a few days ago, and after getting it all installed, I turn it on, and run the setup. Everything looks fine, so i save and reboot. It starts back up again, and immediately goes to the "launch windows repair/start windows normally" screen. I choose to start normally, and the screen where the MS logo is shows up (where the four dots of light collide). But before the dots could even combine, everything stops, my computer makes a noise (sounds like a fan running for about one second), and it restarts itself instantly. It continues to do this over and over in one giant loop.

I've tried leaving only two sticks of ram in, I've tried a different PSU, different eSATA cables, and taken the graphics card out. Nothing changes. It's entirely possible that I could've damaged the HDD or motherboard during installation, but I just wanted to ask to make sure.

CPU: Intel i7-3770k Ivy Bridge 3.5 ghz
Ram: Four 4gb gskill Sniper series 1866
PSU:CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91
Case: Rosewill THOR v2 gaming ATX

Enter BIOS on bootup....set all settings to default, save and exit.

If that don't work, open the box, use the CMOS jumper to clear CMOS and try again.

If that dont work, remove everything but 1 stick of RAM and try again.

If ya have any success, add one more component with each restart

Is it one packaged set of Snipers or two (or more), if so they prob aren't wanting to play nice and will need voltage and or timings changes - never a good idea to mix sets of DRAM - even same identical model. If so, which set(s) of DRAM and we'll see what we can do, (XMP won't work as programming is by packaged set and the advanced timings will be different from a 2 and a 4 stick set)
