So I just finished installing windows and moved on to installing the drivers from the ASUS utility disc that came with the board.

Theres a lot of stuff there, some stuff Im pretty sure I dont need, like Google Chrome Toolbar.

There isnt a lot of detail in the item descriptions so I figured Id ask here. What drivers should I install and which ones should I skip?

Intel Chipset Driver
Management Engine Interface
RealTek Audio Driver
AsmediaSATA Controller Driver
Intel USB 3.0 Driver
Intel LAN Driver
Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver Software
APRP Utility

As a side note it says that the Intel Chipset Device is designed for the latest service packs so I guess I have to install the Intel LAN Driver and come back to that?

As always any feedback is appreciated, and thank you in advance.

I've got the Intel rapid storage I'm running RAID under the Intel drivers, loaded the chipset drivers, ROG CPU-Z, Lan driver, audio, USB and I think that's about it so far, just the basics....am wanting to work on playing with the BIOS and OC, built last weekend, last night I finally got my CM GTS V8 cooler in, (it's a beast) but already has idle down to 32 and the AS5 is only a day old (takes a few days to cure) am guess idle will be high 20's which is great, I'm in AZ, expecting load in the mid 50s or less, much better than the EVO I put n here initially, have it at 4.6 and am down to 16GB of 2666 (hopefully back to 32GB within a week if I ever get any time to play, had these Tridents up to 2800 CL11 earlier today and was stable, may...

Hi Tradesman1, thanks for your response. I flashed the BIOS yesterday. I guess I should be more specific in my post.

What is Management Engine Interface?
What is the APRP Utility?

Ive researched quite a bit an spent considerable time reading about AI Suite, TweakIt, RoG Connect, Web Storage, Ai Charger, Boot Setting the list goes on...

Is Disk Unlocker useful, is it a resource hog?
Would you recommend rapid storage technology? or Intel Smart Tech Software?

Im looking for a bit of advice, maybe youd be so kind as to share what you installed and why?

I do like the AI suite and the level of fan control it provides so Ill likely be installing that.
