After finally putting everything together, my PC is up and running. My goal was to build a PC I could use for gaming for the next 3 or so years (PS4 as a exclusive machine most likely).

8gb Patriot Viper Ram, Haf 912 Combo ($97)
Corsair CX600 ($38)
WD Blue 1TB 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache ($65)

HD 5770 $0 (Birthday present from a couple of years ago)
CM Hyper 212+ ($30) - Just ordered, wasn't happy with the temps I was getting
How did I do on cost? Were the components I bought worth roughly $500?
I have to wait till next summer or cyber Monday to get a HD 7*** card (And rid or this bottle neck), but are there more vital upgrades to prolong my PC's life?
