AMD to Intel. Would this be a plausible Upgrade?

Hi, I currently re-built my system front to back with Corsair Vengance Ram, GTX 580, Phantom 410 Case, Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler, LED Fans, Everything. The processor I currently have is the AMD FX-6350 It's the 6 core version of the 8350. Both Piledriver. The stock is 3.9Ghz I have it upped to 6 Cores at 4.7Ghz. I'm wondering if I spend the time and money to go to say..an i5 3750k. Am I going to see an actual noticeable difference? Has anyone here gone through an upgrade of this nature or is aware of how vast the difference is between an Overclocked 6350 and the 3570k. It's a lot of trouble to switch but i'm willing to if the difference is something I will clearly notice. I use my computer for mostly Gaming. I game at nothing less than 1080p and prefer high settings. All the current titles (FC3, Conviction, AC3, etc) Thank you for any insight given, I'm really lost on this one.

That would be a pointless upgrade. You would notice absolutely no difference in gaming and very little difference, if any, everywhere else. Its at least $300 down the drain if you upgrade. Your CPU is very good and has a great overclock. Don't change it. The i5 is barely better then it and can probably not overclock as well. I hope this helps.
