Hi Everyone,

Other day i opened the laptop and found some water drops on the keyboard (Kids Job). Laptop was in sleep mode, i switched it on and realize that keyboard is not working properly. Some keys were working and some not. I switched it off and the windows update started and it stuck while doing windows update for more than an hour and i had to switched it off by pressing the power button.

When the laptop started it stuck on the first page of Think pad logo and not moving forward. After 10 minutes i get the following message.

Status: 0xc000000f
Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

I google the issue and performed the followings.

- Change the keyboard to the USB one
- Remove the battery and power and put everything back after an hour.
- Go to BIOS (After starting it goes to BIOS but it is very slow. It takes like 3 minutes to go to BIOS) and it shows the hard drive.
- Put the windows CD to repair but it does not manage to read the Hard disk.
- Use HD diagnosing software but it was unable to detect the HD so it is not performing the test.
- I removed the hard disk and switched it without the HD and it goes to BIOS straight away.
- I put another HD in my laptop and it works and at the same time i put the damage HD in another laptop and it stuck on the first page. So HD is not working in other machines as well.

I do not think that it happens because of water because but i think it has something to do with windows update. I have all my office data inside so someone please help me out.
