Best Graphics Card for AMD FX6100 Processor.... I'll plan buy MSI GeForce GTX760 GAMING Is ok?? ....or other Graphics Card???

Solution

It's not too late to change the CPU is it? That will really, really, bottleneck anything you throw at it. It will devastate any even slightly CPU-bound game. See what happens when an FX-6100 with HD 6950's in crossfire (more powerful than a HD 7970) takes on an I5-2500K with 2 gtx 460's in crossfire (about on the same level as a HD 7870):

If there's any strain on the CPU at all, the FX-4100 will bring your frame rates crashing down. Only in games (like metro) where the vast majority of the strain is on the graphics cards will you be even slightly OK.

Switch to an intel I3 or I5 if you've got the budget. Even if you're sticking with an AMD motherboard, then I cannot under-recommend upgrading to an FX-6300 as soon as possible, and then you'll still want to overclock.

However, if you're still stuck with this CPU, then you should probably go no higher than a HD 7850/GTX 650 ti boost to avoid bottlenecking. Maybe a HD 7870/GTX 660 if you can get a decent after-market cooler and overclock. If you get an FX 6300 and overclock, then you could probably go up to a HD 7950/GTX 760, but no more.

The problem with the 660ti/760 is that the OP's CPU is too much of a bottleneck. They could buy a GTX 660 ti/GTX 760/HD 7870, but because their CPU is holding them back, they probably wouldn't see much improvement over a HD 7850 or GTX 650 ti. I'd recommend that they buy that and save up their money for a CPU cooler to overclock, or a FX-6300, or if they're not going to upgrade at all, then just sink the money into a new game, or a few pints, or whatever. There's just no point in them buying anything more powerful with that CPU.

Wrong wrong wrong.

In almost all cases, the CPU determines the minimum framerate, GPU determines average framerate.

Loong Neet should definitely overclock as high as possible to get better performance in CPU-intensive games, but a GTX 760 would provide a Huge boost over a $150 card. Medium settings to Ultra in most newer games.

Your mid-range CPU will cause some drops below 30fps in CPU-intensive parts, but overall you'll have a great gaming experience.

EDIT - an "upgrade" from FX-6100 to FX-6300 is a complete waste of money - there's like a 5% difference in performance in games.

MSI is my choice. Cheaper too.
