EVGA GTX 760 Won't Work

I recently bought a new EVGA GTX 760 2gb with acx cooling. I installed it with no problems, however, when I attempt to boot my computer, it does not go beyond the startup screen. As well as this, my motherboard beeps with the same pattern each time: 3 short beeps, with about 25 seconds in between each beep, then 1 beep quickly followed by 3 rapid beeps, before my screen goes blank. I made sure to install the latest bios too before putting in the new card.

My specs:
Intel core i7 2600
Corsair cx600m 600w psu
Kingston hyperx blu 16gb (2x8gb)
Cleveland GL8 motherboard (the motherboard in an hp pavilion elite 575a)

When putting back the old graphics card, it boots up with no problems. I hope this 760 isn't broken or faulty.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Put back in your old graphics card and find what kind of BIOS you have ex. AMI BIOS. Then search up the beep codes. Worse case scenario you can simply get a refund or replacement.
