heloo everyone,
i know that those CPUs were discussed alot BUT i had to ask again with a small specification
i own a Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC BOOST 3GB GDDR5.
im looking to buy a good gaming system that will bring me the best performance (Graphics, fps, etc) with my current GPU considering that Radeon is based on AMD
So should i Buy a complete AMD PC or i could get same or better performance with the i5 4670K ??

Just Some Details on the GPU and CPUs
* i5 4670K Haswell Quad Core 3.4Ghz 6MB L3 Cache , Frequency: 3400 MHz - Turbo frequency: 3800 MHz.
* AMD FX-8350 Eight Core Black Edition 4.0GHz AM3+

GPU: Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC BOOST 3GB GDDR5 , Default: 850/ EZ Boost: 950 MHz Core Clock MHz Core Clock
28 nm Chip
1792 x Stream Processors
Video Memory 3072 MB Size
384 -bit GDDR5
5000 MHz Effective

overall performance of the i5 is better than the amd but in terms of gaming they are pretty even tbh within the margins of error in gpu heavy titles when the gpu is under load.

purely depends if you want to pay more for the intel.

Since the upcoming consoles from MS and Sony features 8 core CPUs, newer games get more multi threaded as a result. So in the future game titles AMD FX-8350 should perform good. Even some of the todays games like BF3, Crysis 3 all run great at Fx8350 without much problems.

both will work without much of a difference, its a matter of how much extra you want to spend to speed up other tasks besides gaming.

yes intel motherboards support both sli and crossfire just check on the motherboard you choose.

GPU and CPU does not have any direct relations. Some games prefer Intel some AMD. Future games seems more AMD due to both consoles being powered by AMD. :)  If your motherboard supports Crossfire then it can....

For single threaded games, Intel takes the cake. Intel is also better for crossfire at this point as well. However, my phenom 2 runs a 7950 to perfection, but wouldn't be able to handle it in crossfire.

How about my FX-8350 with crossfire?

The 8350 can handle 7950 in crossfire, but you will see a bottleneck in many games which still run on one or two threads.

Oh thanks for letting me know, hopefully the new games will all use multi threads..
Thanks again
