GTX 680 Crysis 2 LOW FPS

Hey Tom's Hardware, with Crysis 2 I get 30-35 fps with a GTX 680 and Intel Core I7 3930K @ 4.2ghz, 32 GB RAM?
The settings are at max but this is very weird?

Close Vsync if it is tweaked on.
  4. What do you mean? Should I turn off vsync?
  5. Yes, turn vsync off.
  6. Since such situation is such abnormal, it should be Vsync who is the mole.

3930K + GTX 680? it should be over 60+ fps all the time.
  7. Should I turn it off from the nvidia control panel or in game?
  8. Well I turned it off on both and now the fps is incredibly high!
Thank you a lot however it is at 70-100 and the screen tearing is noticeable and annoying, anyway I can fix it?

By turning vsync back on. That's one of its main functions, to remove tearing.
  10. Make sure ur version is the newest (1.9), also have u pateched the DX 11 pack and High Texture pack?
  11. I only have the DX 11 Pack atm, also, I am still getting drops from time to time and it goes down to 40 which is very annoying? Anyway to fix it?
  12. Ya know what, this is very frustrating; I am not going to bother playing this game, maybe just play the third; anyways thanks:)
  13. I have no idea. Maybe the game is not optimized well. Once I've come to my savvy friend's and his i3-3770K (@4.5Ghz) and GTX 680 rig have obvious lag spikes occasionally.
