Hey everyone.
I am having some trouble with my external WD 2TB My Book. I am trying to copy over a very large file (88.0GB, and that's compressed) from my Internal drive to my External drive. It starts off OK, 60Mb/s, but instantly starts dropping, eventually to hit 500kb/s - 1Mb/s. I have tried enabling write caching, but didn't do much. Any program's or anything that someone could recommend?
I have also tried plugging it in a USB 3 slot, but undoubtably it didn't help much either. Any help?
