Is this 9600GT card a fake?

I bought this used card and it's working fine and certainly better than my last card but I wonder if it's really a 9600GT. The reason I have suspicions is because the model number 188-01N43-01DRT comes up as Zotac in google search (in Japanese websites) but does not have CZT at the end but DRT. The card does not have any maker brand on it. Thoughts?

There sure are! The bios of old cards are modified to look like new better cards like what happened to this guy-

Run something like 3DMark11 and see what results it gets, compare to a 9600GT on a similar system. If the numbers match up, then even if its fake your still getting the right performance.

EDIT: It could also be a purely reference card from Nvidia. Pretty unusual, but not impossible to get your hands on. Maybe its a unit that was sent out at launch for review.
