Hi, I've been looking through the forums - still need help though, I have a thinkcentre m82 small form factor, with i5-3570 processor. need a low profile card with low power consumption. i don't play games, just would like a card with hdmi and able to play hd videos. thank you!

If you only want to play HD movies then your ThinkCentre M82 can do that out of the box. The integrated graphic card on the i5-3570 is powerful enough to play HD movies. And I checked the specs for the ThinkCentre M82 and you have a "displayport" output behind. All you need to buy is a "displayport-to-HDMI" adpater.

Here are two options:

Adapter:

Cable:

Or if you really want a card this would do:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102882

This one is really cheap but don't expect any kind of performance out of it. Just good enough to play HD movies and it has a HDMI output as you...

It's just that it won't be that much more powerful than your integrated card... and as I said your integrated card can already play HD movies so I don't see the point of adding a card.
