amd fx 6300 with gtx 580

my friend has just upgraded to a 680 so he has gave me his 580 im new to the gaming seen and he is intel mad with the i7 which I cant afford as im on a very tight budget as I need a full pc cpu motherboard cases hdd the lot lol so I have been looking and for my price range I think the fx 6300 would be best or th i3 3220 can anyone HELP!!!!!!!!!

Yes it will be the bottleneck, however there is always a bottleneck in each computer setup, for you it would be your cpu before the gpu is all im saying. Therefore for gaming you are probably going to be just fine, however also if the game is very cpu intensive then you may get lowered fps due to your cpu, however that is only to be expected, and the 6300 is by no means a bad cpu, its just not extremely powerful. In more basic terms, im just saying that the cpu will slow you down a bit, however it shouldn't be a very large difference.

and I want to play gta iv/v battlefield 3 black ops 2 do you think it will run them ok

Yeah it will run those at probably the highest settings aside from bf3 it may only run on high not highest because bf3 is one fo the most cpu intensive games to be released, or so i have been lead to believe.

Well there wouldnt be a problem exactly, the cpu would be less powerful and will be the thing you need to upgrade before your upgrade the GPU, however you shouldn't have any problem with it for quite some time now if gaming is your main application. I would give it say 4 years before an upgrade is completely necessary for the cpu.

well that's what I want as my wife is going mad lol gaming and internet surfing will be what I will be doing manly .
so would you go amd 6 series or i3 p.s thanks for helping pal
