use pcpartpicker to help you find the best prices on websites, but they are not that quick with certain ddeals going around.

INTEL--

If you are a intel fan i recommend the i5-4670k if you are going to overclock with either the z87 asrock extreme 4 or the z87 asus pro. with a hyper 212 evo cpu, ram would be 1600 corsair vengeance 2x4 gb. and depending on the remaining amount of cahs you have if its > $250 I would recommend the 760 GTX FOR NOW because the new line of 8xxx series of Radeon is to be announced in September.

If your not going to overfclock go with the i5-4430 with a H87 mobo GIGABYTE GA-H87-D3H or ASUS h87-PRO

AMD--
For AMD i would recommend the FX-8350 with ASROCK 970FX EXTREME 4 if you are not going sli/xfire or even...

If you are buying the parts in december, there is really no point in putting together a build now, price changes and new cards/processors are expected around this time so an optimal reccommendation now may be completely different to the optimal reccommendation then :)

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Microcenter)
