Bought recently Fractal Design node 304 and just found out that I need PSU shorter than 160mm, if I want to put a decent size graphic card inside. :(

Anyway, there comes my problem! I have gigabyte Z87 mini ITX board, i5 - 4570, 2 TB hard drive, 120 GB SSD, 2x4 GB of RAM, Corsair H55, two 92mm fans and I'd like to buy a solid graphic card someday.

Anyway, I wouldn't like to go under 500W. Do you think I need more? I'm limited to few companies (like Cooler Master, Silverstone, Seasonic, Super Flower, Chieftec and something from Thermaltake and LC power).

Found something like Silverstone Strider Plus ST50F-P and Cooler Master Silent Pro M500, but I'm not sure if I need something with more power. What do you thing of these two PSUs?

I would much appreciate any help! :)

No XFX available :( but I managed to find Seasonic 620W S 12 series for 80e and 3 years of warranty :)
Here's the link http://www.seasonicusa.com/S12II-Bronze.htm

It will fit nicely, 140mm of length is quite short and it'll be great. Too bad it is not modular.. Anyone has experience with that one? How will it perform around haswell? How much Watts will my configuration drain in worst cases?

Thanks for quick answers :)

The S12II 620w is not Haswell certified, but the M12II 650w is, see if you can get that one instead. It's also modular

Yes, M 12 II 620W is available and it's around the same price. It's a bit longer than S 12 II (150mm) and it needs a bit more space due its modular design. That leaves me with less than 10mm of space for modular cables, is that going to be enough?

It's semi modular, so cables for motherboard and processor are not detachable, which is good, because they are on the right side (if the psu is placed fan facing down) and wont interfere with graphic card.

Here's a photo: http://www.overclockers.ru/images/lab/2013/07/20/1/013_big.jpg
So, lets say that my graphic card is going to be a bit longer than 20cm and it will cover almost the half of psu (right half on the photo above). Are those sockets on the right for hard drives and fans? I've god 2 hard drives and a fan controler and that leaves me with two of those sockets empty. Am I right?

I swear that my next configuration will be full tower :D

No, there's nothing from xfx on the market... I looked into M series again and realized that only the models from 650W and above are optimized for haswell. Those models are also bigger and they wont fit in my case. I'm gonna buy that S 12 II 620W, disable the power saving stuff or whatever its called and finish the story. :)

thanks very much for the advice! :)

Another problem fellas, 620W is currently not available! They told me today to check again in a month or two. Seasonic M series with 520W is the best they have. :( Is that going to be enough ?
