Better z87 board: MSI MPower Max, or Asus Sabertooth

The build would be mostly workstation, with some gaming as well. I'm curious if anyone has compliments or complaints about either one, and especially if one is definitely better than the other.

And since when are Asus and MSI not "name brand"?

I realize that but the chart just illustrates the trend from SB on and whether you're talking mainstrsam or high end (x79). Z87 has not shown any sign of being different in any review I have seen.

The point is that if you put an Asus z87-a pc next to the sabertooth and open a page, play a game, transcode a video you can't tell them apart without benches.

Both boards you listed are fine, they're just overhyped marketing.

Of the two there's no comparison - go w/ Asus, I won't touch MSI for builds, they have poor QC and worse support....a step down from the ST is the Z87 Expert (costs less but same basic board less the TUF thermal Armor
