Hi, I have a few questions I would like to ask you guys. First off, a few months ago I bought a pre-built rig from BestBuy that was 800$. I know what you are thinking, Just build your own, BestBuy is overpriced. I know all that, but I had no choice but to get one from BestBuy because I had 800 store credit there.

So my question is, what can I upgrade/buy/overclock on my rig to make it play games like CoD and Bf3 at at least 40-50-60 Fps??

I have
-Intel Core i5-3570k 3.40 Ghz Cpu
-NVidia Gtx 650 (Non-ti)
-8 Gb of Ram (I think im good in that department)

Those are the main specs of my rig, if you need any more info then just ask. I just want to know what I could buy and replace or overclock or whatever to make it to where I can run games other than Minecraft(Which I get aprox. 200 Fps on). FYI, I am a total noob at buying and replacing or overclocking or building computers. What I am asking may be completely wrong, I just don't know! So please cut me some slack and be pretty descriptive about the advice you give me.

I just don't want to buy Bf4 and get 20 Fps, o thanks for the help!!

You should be able to play on Ultra settings at 1366x768 in Battlefield 3 and get frame rates around 30 to 60FPS the way it is right now. With a GTX 770 you could play Ultra at 1920x1080 and get 60 to 120 FPS. Big difference in FPS and resolution... But if you're fine playing games in 720P rather than 1080P then you can keep...
DePending on the size of the pc case to game you need a good power supply and better gpu. For the money the 770 or amd gpu would be the best card. If you went with one card a good 750w unit will be fine if you think you sli get a larger power supply. If you have a non standard micro case you have to buy a new case and move parts to a new case.

Yeah. You have a nice solid foundation for a good gaming computer. Honestly, it will play games pretty decently as is.. But You would probably have a much better experience if you upgraded your Graphics card. In order to do that you might need to also upgrade your power supply depending on how good of quality the one you have already is. But usually those prebuilt computers have a crap power supply so I'd say you will have to upgrade it. But yeah... The GTX 650 will play games decently. It will do about as good as a GTX 660m which I don't hear too many people complaining about.

Thanks for the replies, I have a midtower case that's is about 22 inches long. as for the power Supply I am not sure what I have. BestBuy no longe sells this model so I cant find the exact specs. is there a way I can find what the psu is??? As for budget I think I will be able to spend about 300-400 maybe 500? so, how much fs would bf3 have with current set-up, and upgraded set-up??

Thanks for the feedback!
