So I took my motherboard out to put a new fan on but stupidly I didn't take a photo so putting the wires back took some time but I got most I think using the manual and my memory. But the power button now only turns it on but not off.
Reset doesn't work at all.

Any suggestions?
Motherboard is ASrock n68c-gs fx
Here's some photos of my PC to help

what case do you have?

and make sure the positive of the plugs are to the left, except the reset button the positive on the reset button is on the right.

from top left to bottom right. the order should be like this. power led, power button, (blank pin) hdd led, reset button, (unused pin)

i have this same board.

Okay I will try that, thanks! My case is Thermaltake commander MS-I Snow edition. It's small but nice and even lights up blue when switched on :p

Ok it didn't work it still only turns on. I don't know which is positive or negative only on the power LED. Though they do have triangles on one side of the pin could u clarify whether the triangle is negative or positive.
I have the order as you said: Power led top left, next to that power SW, bottom left hdd led and next to that rest sw :S I've tried turning the wires around so that the words face inwards and it still won't work :/

okay normally the wires on the case the positive will always be the colored cable. the white cable should be the negative. normally they have a little plus sign on the plug itself indicating that that side is positive. the plugs should be labeled as well. they should be labeled something like pled, hdled, pwrbtn, and rstsw.

on most cases today (if the cables arent all black ) they are color coded. i know almost all the time the reset switch will be blue. and the hdd led will be orange. and the power button will be red. normally most companies use green for the power led. but not all companies like to use that color. ima look for the manual to see if help you out some more.

[edit] stupid manual is useless. its in black and white. but it does say that the pins are labeled. just match the pins to the markings labeled on the motherboard.
