How do you post pictures on here? I have a black vertical line that is about 2 and a half inches tall coming up from the bottom of the screen going across the windows start emblem button that seems to be growing slightly in thickness when I rub it. It also has smaller centimeter lines coming off of it horizontally. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? How to I post pictures I have taken of it on here to show you?

i would try connecting your laptop again and adjust the picture size and or res so all the picture shows up on the different screen so it doesnt cut it off. if there is no black line then its time to replace the laptop's lcd. if it is still there then you might have a graphics driver issue. but seeing how you can make the line grow simply by touching or pushing on the screen, that tells me that you have a line of dead pixels.
