So I have a 3570k right now at 4.2 GHz stable at 1.24 volts with a highest temp of 67 in prime95. I can't get it any lower without it becoming unstable too. I have been trying to get it to a stable 4.4 GHz, but I can't even get a stable 4.3 at 1.34 volts. Am I just really that unlucky or is there something I can do about it?

Solution
i think you we're very unlucky and got a bad chip, i bought 3 3570k for 3 different PC and i got one that can't reach 4.5ghz with 1.4v so i think you got the same batch :(

4.4Ghz was 1.3750V in bios with an ASUS P8Z77V-Lk

PS: the 2 others goes to 4.7ghz and one can do 4.6ghz with 1.30V but stalls at 4.7ghz whatever the Vcore is...
