i use turnigy RGB led, i can choose any color and they cost 7$ for a meter long (got 2X1 meter, 2 X 50cm and 2 X 25cm for less than 30$ total) and they also come with a connector if you want to install them on a removable parts like side panel...

only thing is you need a molex plug and you need to do the wiring yourself (it's really easy, don't bother)

i control them with a fan controller (scythe Kaze Master Ace) so i can change color on the fly as i already control all my fans on the first channel with the NZXT fan splitter (8 channel from one)

i don't think you'll find anything cheaper if you're able to do basic wiring (soldering and plug yellow (12V) to the white cable and black cables with RGB cables cables depending on the color...
