downgrading from windows 7 to vista with out usb or dvd

i bote a laptop that was orignally on windows vista but it has windows 7 on .... its having driver problems as they never realeased windows 7 drivers for my laptop .... compaq f700 .... now my dvd drive is broke and i have no usb is it possible to downgrade to vista .. i have to key code under laptop and am download vista iso ... please someone have the answer :)

Right. Need to boot from the setup disk so you can install it clean. Replace the DVD drive or get a USB stick to make a bootable setup from.

i can mount the vista iso via deamon tools or i usually just unrar the iso and just click run set up .... but it wont let me do it that way as its earlier version of windows

Not without something installed on it, you can see if the setup you have will allow you to setup Windows on the other partition.

A USB sick is about $10, may as well get one and make a bootable setup from that.
There are instructions on how to make a recovery partition out there, but they seem to all start from a good Windows setup to begin with.
