Ok, I am a gamer (World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Team Fortress 2), and I am looking to replace my windows os with something different. I know linux based systems have very limited support for games, but I am wondering if it is possible to swap to a linux based system (Zorin OS 7 or Ubuntu most likely) and still continue playing these games? Thanks for any help guys!

Solution
Try Ubuntu (It's free!)

You can get Steam for Linux. It doesn't have every game, but there are a lot of AAA titles. If you don't like it, it didn't cost anything.

Just get windows 8, some people are bashing it but it's actually a good OS, it handles GPU and RAM efficiently.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I have done some more research, and I think I am going to try using Wubi to dual boot with Ubuntu. At least that way I can try it out and still have Windows 7 in case I don't like it or can't game like I want. I want something that is quicker than Windows and has fewer viruses for it, but does not inhibit my gaming too badly, thanks guys!
