Title says it all. Ive got an 8350 and a 7970, i have another one coming tommorow, and ill be ordering the PSU within the next week or so. Ive had 2 in mind, the Corsair AX860 which is 80+ platinum, or the EVGA supernova 1000w. The evga is 10 bucks cheaper 80+ gold. Which one do you recommend for my system? ill also be OC a lot :T Also, if you have any other PSUs just post a link and ill check them. Also, 1 HDD and 1 SSD.

850W is totally enough for your setup. But for the price and performance, EVGA SUPERNOVA 1000W is the way to go, that PSU is totally reliable. Lots of my buds got that PSU and they love it. The other plus is that it's one of the best looking PSU's I've seen and you can't beat the 10-YEAR WARRANTY it has. :)

What proof do you have that EVGA is not a good PSU? Their PSU's are actually underrated. If only my local pc store have the EVGA Supernova 1000W in stock, I'd grab that in a heartbeat.

Gotta give it to evga on that warranty. The thing is, the 8350 draws a lot of power, and with 2 video cards, which will also be overclocked, i just dont think it will be enough if i go with the corsair. i think its going to barely scrape that 850 mark. http://gyazo.com/7e3bb46d0d97705bcccd96ce09b45d69
Thats what im worried about, i dont want to stress out the psu and have it die on me, so should i just go with evga and be on the safe side?

EVGA are good at PSUs but I said they aren't VERY good.

And 10 years Warranty, yes a deal that can't be broken.

But a Seasonic Platinum Certified would be just better than EVGA. Though they have 7 Years warranty.

Go with EVGA, can't go wrong with it.
