Hey guys i am really frustrated hope u guys can help. i own a Ausus notebook n43sl i5 2.3 ghz, with 6 gb ram . intel 3000 graphic & nvidia gt540m 2 gb. lately i find my laptop overheating just after booting up my laptop. i installed speed fan & notice that after 10-15 Mins of using my laptop the gpu suddenly shoots upto 100 % load & the temperature reaches upto 90 degree Celsius. at the same time even my cpu core reaches temperature of 90 degree each but with just 5-10 % load. LET ME TELL U WHAT I DID BEFORE POSTING THIS. I was using windows 7 earlier & was having the same problem & so i formatted my whole system & installed a fresh copy of windows 8 pro. but this time i did not update my windows except the drivers. again i face the same problem . i used old as well as updated version of the nvidia drivers but still no changes. my bios is upto date & i am not running any antivirus & there is no games installed.

Solution
Firstly, make sure you have the latest chipset drivers installed as this can have an effect on performance issues in this way.
Let me know how it goes and good luck! also, see what happens when you run the system up in safe mode (f8).
